Even though computers are very good at following instructions, they cannot truly understand language because they do not have feelings or real-life experiences. Some people think that if an AI sounds smart, it must be intelligent. But if you think about it, a parrot can say “hello” without knowing who it is talking to. In the same way, a machine can give a perfect answer without ever thinking a single original thought of its own.
